Low cost airline Ryanair have announced the operating a new route between Alicante and Madrid with 2 flights daily between the cities. The flights will leave Alicante daily at 14:45 and 22:55 reaching Madrid around 1 hour later.
Return flights will leave Madrid at 13:10 and 21:20, again the journey time is one hour.
The route is the third domestic flight operated the total number of destinations from the airport to 27
In addition new routes in the future include:
Alicante to Birmingham, operational from 24 October
Alicante to Leeds – Bradford, operational from 28 October
Alicante to Palma Mallorca, operational from 20 December
In a statement issued by the company Alessia Vivini (Sales and Marketing) stated that, “Thanks to Ryanair, Alicante is more accessible than ever for the growing number of visitors. At the same time travellers from Alicante have now got the chance to discover an increasing number of destinations at never before seen prices”
